It seems as though the older I get. the puffier my face gets in the mornings. It’s bound to happen. Your body changes the older you get. And there’s no way of stopping that. But, there’s a way to reduce the puffiness on your face. And it only takes a few easy changes:
Reduce your sugar intake- Sugar is so hard to escape. It’s pretty much on everything. It taste good on mostly everything. But, there’s better alternatives. I use honey(honey also contains amino acids, specific types of electrolytes and antioxidants, and antimicrobial compounds that can really support the health of your body) Stevia, maple syrup, and coconut sugar. Although these alternatives are much healthier. It’s still important to reduce your intake.
Drink more water- Start a new habbit. I have a routine. I always have a glass of water next to my bed. That is the first thing i take in. I then drink a cup in the afternoon, before my lunch, with my snack, before dinner, and before bed. It will take time for your body to get used to so much water. So, yes. You will have those urges of running to the bathroom every now and then. But like everything in life. It’s going to take time.
Coffee Mask. . . .
During last year’s Zero Waste Challenge, I found myself struggling with changing my face cleaning regimen. i was in love with St.Ives Apricot scrub. But i knew i had to give it up. So i switched to a honey based face scrub. honey is not only delicious. But it’s also so good for your skin.
- Acne: Honey is naturally antibacterial, so it’s great for acne treatment and prevention.
- Aging: Full of antioxidants, it is great for slowing down aging.
- Complexion boost: It is extremely moisturizing and soothing, so it helps create a glow.
- Pores: Honey is clarifying because it opens up pores making them easy to unclog.
