Chile Seco Salsa Recipe

 

” Un dia sin chile es como un dia sin Sol”

Ingredients

  1. 2-3 cups of tomatillos
  2. a handful of Puya Chiles
  3. 1 teaspoon of salt or as desired
  4. 1/3 cup of warm water
  5. 1 onion
  6. 1 tablespoon of cilantro

Direction

  1. rinse and place tomatillos on a hot pan. let them toast on both sides
  2. remove the stems from the chile puya. place chiles on the aluminum foil. cover. and let it bake for 10 minutes in medium heat.
  3. let aluminum pouch cool down before opening it.
  4. blend tomatillos first. add 1/3 cup of warm water
  5. add the puya chiles. blend
  6. add half of an onion. add cilantro.add a pinch or two of salt.
